Coryphaenoides rudis és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.
Morfologia
- Els mascles poden assolir 111 cm de llargària total.[2][3]
Alimentació
Menja cefalòpodes.[2]
Hàbitat
És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 600-2380 m de fondària.[2][4]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba a les Illes Kermadec, les Filipines,[5] el Mar de Tasmània,[6] l'illa de Socotra i l'Atlàntic tropical i subtropical (incloent-hi el Golf de Mèxic i el Carib).[7][2]
