Rastrineobola argentea és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.

Morfologia

  • Els mascles poden assolir 9 cm de longitud total.[2][3]

Alimentació

Menja zooplàncton[4] i insectes.[5]

Depredadors

A Kenya és depredat per Bagrus docmak[6] i a Tanzània per Lates niloticus.[7]

Hàbitat

És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical (22°- 26 °C).[2][8]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àfrica: llacs Victòria i Kyoga.[2][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
