Die Liste der Schachturniere von Michail Tal listet Turnier- und Wettkampfergebnisse des Schachgroßmeisters und achten Schachweltmeisters Michail Tal auf.
Tal trat erstmals 1949 in Riga auf und zählte ab Ende der 1950er-Jahre zur Weltspitze. Bei der Schachweltmeisterschaft 1960 eroberte er den Titel des Schachweltmeisters von Michail Botwinnik, verlor ihn allerdings beim Revanchekampf 1961. Auch wenn Tal bis 1990 an den Qualifikationszyklen zur Schachweltmeisterschaft teilnahm, konnte er sich kein weiteres Mal für den Zweikampf um den Titel qualifizieren. Bis zum Mai 1992 nahm er an Turnieren teil.
Er gewann zahlreiche internationale Turniere und gewann sechsmal die sowjetische Meisterschaft, womit er zusammen mit Michail Botwinnik Rekordmeister ist.
Tal spielte achtmal bei Schacholympiaden für die sowjetische Mannschaft, die jeweils die Goldmedaille gewann. Zudem gewann er fünf individuelle Gold- und zwei Silbermedaillen.[1] Darüber hinaus gewann er mit der UdSSR sechsmal die Mannschaftseuropameisterschaft.[2]
In der sowjetischen Vereinsmeisterschaft spielte Tal bis 1976 für Daugava, ab 1984 spielte er für die Mannschaft von Trud, mit der er den European Club Cup 1984 gewann und 1986 das Finale erreichte.[3] In der deutschen Schachbundesliga spielte er in der Saison 1989/90 für den SK Zehlendorf und von 1990 bis 1992 für die SG Porz, mit der er auch am European Club Cup 1992 teilnahm.[3]
