Afzalabad (Persian: افضل‌آباد) is a village in, and the capital of, Poshtkuh Rural District[3] of Poshtkuh District, Khash County, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 514 in 82 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 159 people in 43 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 172 people in 58 households.[2]

In December 2019, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Poshtkuh District, which was divided into two rural districts and no cities.[6]
