Bazneh (Persian: بازنه, also Romanized as Bāzneh, Bazaneh, and Bāzeneh)[3] was a village in Qarah Kahriz Rural District of the Central District of Shazand County, Markazi province, Iran.
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,900 in 988 households.[2] Bazneh was not listed in the following census of 2011. The rural district had been transferred to the newly established Qarah Kahriz District.[4]
In July 2013, Bazneh and the village of Hafteh were merged to become the city of Shahbaz.[5]
