Casapinta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Turin and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) northeast of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 480 and an area of 2.9 square kilometres (1.1 sq mi).[3]
Casapinta borders the following municipalities: Crosa, Curino, Lessona, Masserano, Mezzana Mortigliengo, Strona.
