Cimoszka

53°25′22″N 23°17′15″E / 53.42278°N 23.28750°E / 53.42278; 23.28750Cimoszka [t͡ɕiˈmɔʂka] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Janów, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Janów, 15 km (9 mi) west of Sokółka, and 35 km (22 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
The village is the birthplace of Polish mathematician Józef Marcinkiewicz.
