Claire Ruth Hazelgrove (born 16 July 1988) is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Filton and Bradley since 2024. She gained the seat from Jack Lopresti, a Conservative.[1]

In 2010, she was the prospective Labour candidate for parliamentary election for Skipton and Ripon.[2][3][4] At time of selection she was the second-youngest Parliamentary Candidate in party history, Emily Benn being the youngest.[5]

Early life

Hazelgrove attended Campion School in Bugbrooke, Northamptonshire where she earned A-Levels in history (A), law (B) and psychology (A).[6] She studied Politics at the University of York and volunteered for Sally Keeble MP.[7][8] In 2021, she received a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Bath.[9]
