Gina Swoboda is an American politician election activist who has served as Chairwoman of the Arizona Republican Party since January 27, 2024, following the resignation of Jeff DeWit. DeWit resigned due to an audio release of him allegedly offering a bribe from "Back East" to Kari Lake not to run for Senate in 2024.[1] She defeated Arizona Corporation Commissioner Jim O'Connor with 67% of the vote to become Chairwoman in January 2024.[2]

Prior to serving as Chairwoman, Gina had served in the State of Arizona's election office, served as a local registrar, as a Precinct Committeewoman, and a statewide trainer for poll observers.[3] Additionally, she worked in the Arizona Secretary of State's office under Democrat Katie Hobbs prior to her election as Governor.[4] Upon her election as AZGOP Chairwoman, Hobbs stated "she was a great employee at the Secretary of State's office, we were sorry to see her go."[5]
