Jacksonburg is an unincorporated community in Harrison Township, Wayne County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[1]
History
Jacksonburg was laid out and platted in 1815.[2]
A post office was established at Jacksonburg in 1822, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1903.[3]
Notable residents
Politician Abner M. Bradbury resided in Jacksonburg.[4] He is buried at the Jacksonburg Cemetery.[5]
