Medford, Indiana

Unincorporated community in Indiana, U.S.

Medford is an unincorporated community in Delaware County, Indiana. It is located about five miles (8.0 km) to the southeast of Muncie.[1]

History

The post office in Medford was once called Phillips.[2] The Phillips post office operated from 1903 until 1908.[3] One source speculates Medford is named after Medford, Maine.[4]
