Niar (Persian: نيار)[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Sharqi Rural District of the Central District of Ardabil County,[4] Ardabil province, Iran.
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 8,405 in 2,218 households.[2] After the census, the village was absorbed by the city of Ardabil.[5]
