Thomas Kingston was a British financier and a member of the extended royal family. He was married to Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. Kingston had a notable career in finance, working as a director at Devonport Capital. He also had a background in economic history, having studied at Bristol University.

Death

The death of Thomas Kingston, aged 45, was announced by Buckingham Palace on 27 February 2024.[1] At an inquest opening at Gloucestershire coroner's court, it was revealed that Kingston had died from a "traumatic head wound" and a gun had been found near his body in an outbuilding at his parents' home in the Cotswolds.[2] The police believed the death was not suspicious.[2]

A private funeral took place at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace on 12 March.[3] About 140 friends and family members, including Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and the Prince of Wales, attended the service.[citation needed]
