Thomas Kingston

The death of Thomas Kingston, aged 45, was announced by Buckingham Palace on 27 February 2024.^[1] At an inquest opening at Gloucestershire coroner's court, it was revealed that Kingston had died from a "traumatic head wound" and a gun had been found near his body in an outbuilding at his parents' home in the Cotswolds.^[2] The police believed the death was not suspicious.^[2]

A private funeral took place at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace on 12 March.^[3] About 140 friends and family members, including Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and the Prince of Wales, attended the service.^{[citation needed]}
