Tizi Ouzou (Kabyle: Tawilayt n Tizi Wezzu, Arabic: ولاية تيزي وزو) is a province (wilayah) of Algeria in the Kabylia region. Its capital is Tizi Ouzou.
History
In 1984, Boumerdès Province was carved out of its territory.
