Beelzebub (Jepang: べるぜバブcode: ja is deprecated , Hepburn: Beruzebabu) adalah sebuah seri manga shōnen Jepang yang ditulis dan diilustrasikan oleh Ryūhei Tamura. Beelzebub pertama kali dirilis oleh Tamura pada tahun 2008 sebagai sebuah cerita one-shot yang dimuat dalam edisi 37–38 dari majalah Weekly Shōnen Jump, dan kemudian memenangkan Gold Future Cup keempat.[3] Manga ini lalu dimuat dalam majalah yang sama, sejak tahun 2009 hingga tahun 2014, dan kemudian berlanjut dalam majalah Shōnen Jump Next!! dengan judul Beelzebub Another (べるぜバブ 番外編code: ja is deprecated , Beruzebabu Bangai Hen), sejak tahun 2014 hingga tahun 2015.[4]

Studio Pierrot+ memproduksi sebuah OVA untuk Beelzebub, yang ditayangkan selama Jump Super Anime Tour pada bulan Oktober 2010.[5][6] Langkah ini kemudian dilanjutkan dengan dibuatnya seri anime yang ditayangkan di Jepang sejak tanggal 9 Januari 2011 hingga 25 Maret 2012.[7]

Plot

Ini menceritakan kisah Tatsumi Oga, seorang siswa kelas satu di SMA Ishiyama, sebuah sekolah untuk remaja nakal. Pada suatu saat dia menemukan seorang pria yang mengambang di sungai dan kemudian pria tersebut terbelah dua dan mengeluarkan bayi (Beelzebub), yang dikirim oleh raja iblis ke dunia untuk menghancurkan umat manusia. Sejak saat itu Oga harus menjadi orang tua bayi tersebut dan membesarkannya. Ia juga menjadi katalisator kekuatan bayi Beelzebub di dunia manusia.

Manga

Serial manga Beelzebub ditulis oleh Ryūhei Tamura. Bab pertama manga ini dipublikasikan pada Febuari 2009 dalam salah satu terbitan majalah shōnen manga Weekly Shōnen Jump dari Shueisha. Bab-bab berikutnya diserialkan secara mingguan hingga ditutup pada Februari 2014. Volume tankōbon pertama dirilis oleh Shueisha pada 2 Juli 2009.[8] Hingga tanggal 1 Mei 2015, telah diterbitkan 28 volume.[9]
