Adelophryne mucronatus

Adelophryne is een geslacht van kikkers uit de familie Eleutherodactylidae. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Marinus Steven Hoogmoed en Jean Lescure in 1984.[1]

Er zijn twaalf soorten, inclusief de pas in 2021 wetenschappelijk beschreven naam Adelophryne glandulata.[2] Alle soorten komen voor in noordelijk Zuid-Amerika, ten zuiden van de Andes. Een wat bekendere soort is Adelophryne adiastola uit Brazilië, deze kikker wordt nog geen 1,4 centimeter lang.[3]
