Leptostachya is een monotypisch geslacht van planten uit de acanthusfamilie (Acanthaceae). De enige soort uit dit geslacht komt voor in Zuid-India, van de oostelijke Himalaya tot in Zuidoost-China en Indochina en op het eiland Borneo.^[1]
