Cultural Institutions Group

Cultural Institutions Group (CIG) er et forbund av offentlige kulturinstitusjoner i New York City.

Forbundet representerer medlemsinstitusjonene i forholdet til byens kommunale myndigheter, som gjennom individuelle partnerskapsavtaler gir subsidier til fast eiendom, sikkerhet, vedlikehold og energikostnader.^[1] Til gjengjeld forplikter institusjonene seg til å drive sin virksomhet som offentlige kulturinstitusjoner med oppdrag å tilby kulturtjenester tilgjengelige for alle innbyggere.^[2]
