Björk wydała album Björk (1977) jako 11-latka, a później albumy solowe z remiksami, dodatkowymi utworami i aranżacjami, muzyką filmową lub opartą na jej muzyce filmowej, i nagrań koncertowych, w tym szereg zestawów, jak i nagrania z innymi osobami lub autorstwa grup muzycznych, w tym album jazzowy Gling-Gló (1990).
