Lentinellus pulvinulus är en svampart[11] som först beskrevs av Miles Joseph Berkeley, och fick sitt nu gällande namn av David Norman Pegler 1965. Lentinellus pulvinulus ingår i släktet Lentinellus och familjen Auriscalpiaceae.[12][13] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[12]
